I am always looking for ways to be creative and learn new skills to become a better designer. When I was 18 years old I started as a freelance Graphic Designer while completing my studies. I’ve also planned and decorated two weddings, went to South England to learn how to screen print and started my own Etsy shop.
I graduated as a Spatial Designer and got my bachelor’s degree in Communication and Multimedia Design (CMD). After my studies I started working as a Graphic Communication Designer at IKEA Utrecht, where I designed, produced and implemented in-store communication for commercial calendar campaigns, SISAN (Store In Shape As New) projects, price & quality levels and achieving the concept review. I also supported the Service Office in the development of in-store communication material to be used in all IKEA stores throughout the Netherlands.
Currently, I am working as a Junior Designer at Weber Shandwick. For FEVE, the European Container Glass Federation, I worked on various projects for the Glass Hallmark. This hallmark is a symbol that shows they are working for a more sustainable future on glass packaging. For them I designed a website, trend report and storyboard for an explainer video.
I also proudly work for one of Weber Shandwicks beautiful brands: Dr. Schär. Their mission, since 1922, has been to make tasty gluten-free products accessible to everyone with special nutritional needs. Each month I design (animated) content for their socials: Facebook and Instagram. Our team also sends out a monthly newsletter and maintains the Dr. Schär website.
